ULTC COVID-19 Safety Plan

Guidelines for customers of Urban Legends Tour Co.

Urban Legends Tour Co. takes all reasonable steps to ensure our customers are kept in a safe and healthy environment however we are unable to prevent all infectious or communicable diseases which may be contracted while on an Urban Legends Tour Co. tour.

All tours and bookings will be capped at 30 customers (except for weddings, funerals and corporate events). There should be no more than 30 customers at a table.

Current guidelines state customers must remain seated at all times while inside licensed venues unless getting up for toilet, to depart the venue etc.

Customers are not able to stand and mingle while at licensed venues.

Customers are not allowed to stand up at any time if they are holding a drink in their hand.

Police have been carrying out regular checks of the venues we visit in each region and as such Urban Legends Tour Co must take the safety of our customers, staff and suppliers extremely seriously while on tours in the current climate.

We are monitoring the conditions & new guidelines very closely, as well as receiving weekly up dates from the Hunter Valley Tourism Association, Transport for NSW & the NSW Government.

Restrictions on transport

Restrictions on Transport in Mini-Buses and Tour Buses

We will take all necessary measures to ensure that drivers of our rented vehicles minimise close contact with passengers as much as possible.

There is no limit on the number of people you can travel with by car or other private vehicles such as a minibus as seen on the government website.

Changes to NSW Government trains, buses and ferries to encourage physical distancing do not apply to other modes of transport, including commercial tour buses, coaches and mini-buses.

Passengers do not need to be from the same household to travel together.

While there is no limit to the number of passengers you can have in a vehicle and passengers can sit in any seat, we will still follow transport and freight industry guidelines for COVID Safe workplaces. We will be implementing a contactless pickup with our customers.

There are limitations to the number of people that can gather for non-travel related purposes. Here is more information about gathering limits for other activities.

Cleaning and Hygiene on the Transport Buses

Our driver/ tour guide will have access to appropriate-strength hand sanitiser at all times.

The company that we work with for the buses, BusFleet Australia, has an extensive list of measures in place to ensure the safety on all transport vehicles used by Urban Legends Tour Co. If a bus comes into contact with COVID-19, that bus is taken out of rotation until fully disinfected.

Urban Legends Tour Co. will produce a list of possible affected passengers if there is a determined case. This could include the buses up to 7 days either side of the currently affected bus/individual/tour.

High-touch surfaces like door handles will be cleaned throughout the day. We also ask guests to leave the opening and closing of the bus to the driver so there is no touching of the usual high-touch surfaces.

We will recommend all passengers to keep the same seat on the bus throughout the day to reduce potential surface exposure. We will provide appropriate-strength hand sanitiser on the bus that is available throughout the day.

Restrictions on the Visiting Locations

We will only be visiting locations that can accommodate the size of the booked group, keeping in mind the maximum capacity of one customer per 4 square metres of space.

The contact between different tours that take place on the same day will be limited. If several tours are booking in on the same day, we will be making sure that they do not need to come into contact with each other.

Alcohol and food can only be consumed by seated customers who adhere to social distancing rules.

Cellar Doors and Breweries

You will be asked to sign-in digitally at each individual location visited on the Urban Legends Tour Co. tour.

Each tour will be for a maximum of 30 people per tour group booking for wineries and breweries. This is due to the new restrictions of 24th of July, where no more than 30 customers can share a table or a tour at a cellar door or a brewery.

There will be no self-serve buffet style food service areas, communal bar snacks, or communal condiments.

You will need to maintain sufficient social distancing within the venue at all times.

Restaurants as per COVID-19 Safety Plan

Capacity at visited restaurants will not exceed one customer per 4 square metres of space.

There will be no more than 30 customers at a table. Household or other close contacts are not required to physically distance. Groups of friends may not necessarily all be household-like contacts and so will require additional space at a table so that they can physically distance.

There will be limited contact between the different customer groups at the restaurant.

We will only be visiting restaurants where indoor hard surface areas will be cleaned at least daily with detergent or disinfectant. Frequently touched areas and surfaces will be cleaned several times per day.

Pubs and Hotels

As per the new restrictions of the 24th of July, pubs, and hotels are restricted to a maximum booking of people per booking
