Because our fleet runs from the Gold Coast, every Byron Bay charter carries a $200 positioning surcharge per vehicle per leg, and we use the Gold Coast depot for all distance calculations. It is quoted clearly up front. Airport transfers at Ballina Byron Gateway and Gold Coast (OOL) are charged at the airport rate only when the run passes the airport test (under 30 km and under 30 min one-way), otherwise as half day or full day plus distance.
