Gold Coast to Brisbane is one of our most-run routes, roughly 75 minutes up the M1 or Gateway. It is a named route, charged as a transfer plus distance, never an airport rate. Gold Coast to Byron Bay is just over the border for beaches, breweries, Bluesfest and group getaways.
Byron Bay charters carry a $200 positioning fee per vehicle per leg (we use the Gold Coast depot for distance), quoted clearly up front. Airport transfers at OOL and BNE are charged at the airport rate only when the run passes the airport test (under 30 km and under 30 min one-way), otherwise as half or full day plus distance.

Yes, both Queensland airports. Gold Coast Airport (OOL) at Coolangatta is roughly 25 minutes from Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. Brisbane Airport (BNE) is roughly 75 to 90 minutes from the Gold Coast and under 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD. We run private group transfers every week with flight tracking and room for every suitcase. The airport rate applies when the run passes the airport test (under 30 km and under 30 min one-way); longer runs are quoted half day or hourly plus distance.
What size bus is best for my Queensland group?+
For 8 to 16 guests the 16-seater Mercedes VIP minibus is ideal for airport runs and bridal parties. For 19 to 24 the 24-seater coach, for 20 to 27 the 27-seater executive, for 28 to 39 the 39-seater luxury coach, and for 40 to 61 the full-size 53 to 61-seater.
