King Valley wine tours, your way.
King Valley wine tours, done three ways. Private King Valley winery tours, brewery tours and distillery days for groups of 4 to 200, from $131 per person. Every six-hour tour includes your vehicle, driver-guide, seated tastings and a custom itinerary built around your group.
Prosecco country, done properly.
One valley. Three genuinely different days.
A King Valley winery tour costs $131 to $250 per person for groups of 4 to 200 guests. The wine, beer and spirits tour starts at $153 and the brewery, distillery and lunch tour at $207. Every tour is private and runs about six hours.
King Valley is one of Australia’s great food and drink regions, with Italian varietals, small breweries and distilleries tucked between Whitfield, Cheshunt, Milawa and Wangaratta, an easy run from Bright, Beechworth and the wider Victorian High Country. The trick is joining the dots without making your group appoint a driver.

You choose the drinks. We handle the day.
Every package includes private vehicle transport, an Urban Legends driver-guide, pickup within about 1.5 hours of King Valley, venue bookings, the listed tastings, your own music and a route shaped around the group.
Pickup can be planned from local accommodation and surrounding High Country centres including Wangaratta, Milawa, Beechworth and Bright. If your group is staying further away, send the address before booking so travel time and price can be confirmed.
Choose a package, or build a private charter.
The three packages bundle tastings and itinerary planning into one per-person price. A private charter is better when your group already has venue bookings, needs transfers only, or wants a longer multi-day High Country plan. We quote the vehicle and driver around your route.

Where is King Valley, and what is it known for?
King Valley is a cool-climate wine region in north-east Victoria, running south along the King River from Wangaratta into the Victorian High Country, roughly three hours from Melbourne. It is best known as the home of Australian prosecco and for the Italian grape varieties planted along Prosecco Road.
The wine
Italian families who settled the valley after the Second World War shifted it from tobacco to vines. Today you will find prosecco, sangiovese, nebbiolo, barbera, pinot grigio and arneis alongside more familiar varieties, with vineyards climbing from the valley floor into genuinely alpine country.
The towns
Oxley, Milawa, Moyhu, Whitfield and Cheshunt run south along the river, with Wangaratta as the gateway city and Bright and Beechworth an easy drive away. Cellar doors, breweries, distilleries and produce stops sit close enough together to string several into one day.
Getting around
Venues are close together, but these are country roads with no public transport worth relying on, and every stop involves tasting. That is why most groups book a driver rather than nominating one. Want ideas before you commit to a route? Read our guide to things to do in King Valley.

Where is King Valley?
King Valley is a cool-climate wine region in north-east Victoria, running south along the King River from Wangaratta into the Victorian High Country. It is about three hours from Melbourne, and the main cellar-door towns are Oxley, Milawa, Moyhu, Whitfield and Cheshunt. The region is best known as the home of Australian prosecco and for its Italian grape varieties.
Do you pick up from Bright, Beechworth or Wangaratta?
Yes. Wangaratta, Milawa, Beechworth and Bright all sit inside the standard pickup radius of about 1.5 hours from King Valley, so they are included in the package price. Tell us the exact address when you enquire and we will build it into the run order. Groups staying further out across the Victorian High Country are still welcome, we just confirm travel time and any price change first.
Can we change the venues?
Yes. The winery package can swap a winery for a brewery, cocktail bar or distillery, and the brewery package can swap a stop for a winery. A fourth venue or larger itinerary change is priced on enquiry.
How does booking work?
A fixed $200 deposit holds the date and triggers instant confirmation. If the deposit is not paid, the booking can be cancelled after the seven-day grace period. Final passenger numbers are due two weeks before departure.
Can groups of four to seven book the mixed or brewery tour?
The live products accept enquiries from small groups, but no online 4 to 7 price band is published for those two packages. Ask for a quote so the vehicle, venues and inclusions can be priced correctly.
