Jet Ski Tour & Yacht Club Lunch
Here's one your team won't see coming. We collect everyone from the office and run you down to the Illawarra Yacht Club at Warrawong, where our partners at Play Hard Jet Ski Hire have you out on Lake Illawarra on Sea-Doo jet skis, with the escarpment as your backdrop. You drive the ski yourself, and no licence or experience is needed: the crew runs a full safety briefing and on-water instruction first.
How the day runs: up to two people share each ski and four skis go out per session, so half the team rides a 20km lap of the lake (about 45 minutes) while the rest are upstairs at the yacht club, then you swap. That suits teams of about 16, and if you're bigger we'll work out the timing with you. Once everyone's off the water it's lunch and drinks upstairs, then the bus takes you on to a Wollongong brewery or straight home. Whoever rides second sticks to soft drinks until their ride is done.
Pricing and the fine print: the group jet ski rate is from $90pp twin share ($180 per jet ski). Your food and drink package and the bus are quoted to suit your team. Tours run Thursday to Sunday and public holidays. Drivers must be 16 or over, each ski has a 200kg limit and everyone needs to be able to swim with a life jacket on. If wind or storms shut the lake, we reschedule.
