Bowral is roughly 120km south-west of Sydney, about ninety minutes down the Hume, so a charter from Sydney is priced as a full day with the run up and back built in. Weekday rates start from $1,250 for the 14-seater. Charters that run only around Bowral and the Highlands villages are quoted at our standard day rate. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays carry a weekend rate, which matters here because most Highlands weddings fall on one.
The Highlands is wedding country, and guest transport is the part that usually needs solving: getting sixty or a hundred people from Bowral, Mittagong or Moss Vale accommodation out to a rural property or vineyard, and safely back again at midnight. The Highlands is wedding country, and the guests are the hard part. Getting sixty or a hundred people out to a country property and safely home again at midnight is the single most requested charter we run up here.
Guest shuttle, bridal run, late trip home.
Most Highlands weddings need three movements, and we quote them as one day. The guest shuttle from Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale or Berrima accommodation out to the venue. The bridal party run, usually earlier and on its own timing. Then the late return, which is the one that actually matters, because a country property at 11pm is a long way from a taxi.
We hold the coach for the day rather than charging you three separate transfers, and your driver stays with the vehicle. If the speeches run long, the bus waits.
A note on wording, because people search for it: we do wedding transport in Bowral, but what we bring is a luxury coach, not a single wedding car. If you want a car for the couple we are not the right call. If you need to move the guest list, that is exactly what we run.
