Yes. Every tour can be adjusted to your family. Send us the ages and we will shape the itinerary, rooms, menus and activities to fit. A few add-ons carry minimum ages (the BridgeClimb, for example) and these are listed per tour.

You pick. Every tour on this page is a private departure, which means it runs on the dates your group chooses rather than on a published schedule. That is the main structural difference between us and a large scheduled coach operator, and it is why moving your dates later is usually straightforward.

We build in two nights wherever the route allows, and three or more where we are using a city as a base for day trips. Single nights are used sparingly and only on genuine staging legs. The full reasoning, and which nights are which, is set out in the pacing section above and confirmed in writing in your itinerary before you book.

No. We are a ground operator, so you book your own flights in whatever cabin you prefer and we build the ground programme around your actual arrival and departure times. You avoid paying a tour operator's margin on an airfare, and a group arriving from different cities on different flights can still start together. A travel agent can package our ground programme with air if you would rather one invoice.

Yes, and it is a brief we handle regularly: Probus and social clubs, retirement villages, community and church groups. We adjust start times, stop lengths and the number of things in a day, and we collect from your village or club rather than a city departure point. Talk to us about step height, handrails and access at specific stops before you book.

Nobody else is on the coach. The itinerary is a starting point rather than a fixed published route, you choose the departure date, and the pace is built around your group rather than a mixed public departure. For an existing group it often works out better value per head too, because the fixed costs split across people you already know.

Your driver-guide stays with the tour rather than changing at every leg, so by day two they know the group, the pace and the quirks of the route. On longer runs a second driver is rostered where heavy vehicle fatigue rules require it, and we tell you up front when that applies. Our drivers hold a Working With Children Check and a Heavy Rigid licence for anything 27 seats and up, and Urban Legends is New South Wales Government accredited and fully insured.

It is planned into the itinerary from the start, not discovered on day four. Heavy vehicle fatigue rules cap how long any driver can be at the wheel, so on longer runs we build in rest and, where the route needs it, rotation. A schedule that cannot legally be driven is not a schedule, and we will redesign a day rather than promise one.

Yes. One-way runs along the Melbourne to Brisbane corridor are supported. Worth knowing that a one-way tour prices differently to a loop, because the coach and driver finish a long way from base and have to get home, so tell us the intended finish point when you ask for a quote.
