Hens Party Packages.
Ideas, Itineraries & Your Own Bus & Driver.
Wine country, breweries, the harbour or the coast, planned around the bride and run door to door on a private coach. Nine regions, one team, and somebody else doing the driving, the bookings and the timing.
Hens party ideas that actually run to time.
Our hens party packages cover nine regions across New South Wales and Queensland, from a Hunter Valley wine day to a Sydney Harbour yacht, a Wollongong brewery run or a Byron Bay weekend. Every one of them comes with a private coach and a professional driver, so nobody in the group is the designated driver and nobody is counting heads in a car park.
Most people planning a hens party are doing it for the first time, usually from another state, usually in a group chat with eleven other opinions in it. If you are still collecting Sydney hens party ideas, we have written up the ones that actually work. The hard part is not picking a winery, though. It is the order of the day: what time to start, how long each stop actually takes, and how to get twelve people between them without losing three of them.
That is the bit we do. Tell us the date, the group size and roughly what the bride is into, and we will tell you which tour fits or quote the bus if you have already sorted your own venues. Once your date is locked in, the full run sheet lands and you can swap anything you do not like. Wineries for breweries, a long lunch for a cocktail class, the whole day for a boat.
Already sorted your own venues and just need the transport? That is our hens party bus hire, and it is the cheaper way to do it when the group has already picked the venues.
Nine ways to do a hens party.
Wine country, craft beer, the harbour, the coast or a straight bus for venues you have already booked. Every one of them is private, every one runs door to door, and every one can be reshuffled around what the bride actually wants.
Sydney · Half or full day
Sydney Hens
Lawn bowls, a rooftop bar, a cocktail class, an Inner West brewery run or all four in one day. The easiest of our hens days to reshape on the day, and simple to build around a group flying in the night before.
Hunter Valley · 2 hrs north
Hunter Valley Hens
Three cellar doors and a proper lunch is the most we will put in a Hunter day. Any more and it rushes, which is the single thing groups tell us afterwards they would change. It is also one of the few regions where a second night does not mean moving hotels.
South Coast · 1 hr 30 south
Wollongong & South Coast
We route this one down the Grand Pacific Drive and over the Sea Cliff Bridge on purpose, because the drive is half the day. Then a lookout stop, and breweries or the Berry wineries. Quieter than the Hunter and about half the distance.
Southern Highlands · 1 hr 30
Southern Highlands
Bowral, Berrima and Mittagong. Cool climate wineries, a gin distillery and a long lunch worth the drive, in a region that still feels like a secret compared to the Hunter.
Sydney Harbour · 3 to 8 hrs
Yacht Charters
Your own boat on Sydney Harbour with a skipper, a swim stop and catering if you want it. The one that fills the camera roll, and easier to organise than most people expect.
Brisbane & Gold Coast · Full day
Brisbane & Gold Coast
Tamborine Mountain wineries, a Brisbane brewery run or a boat day off the Broadwater. Queensland runs on our trusted local operator network, to the same run sheets and the same standards as our NSW days.
Byron Bay · Weekend
Byron Bay
Stone & Wood, the lighthouse walk, a hinterland winery and a beach the group will not want to leave. Byron is a weekend rather than a day, and we move you between all of it.
Wine country · NSW wide
Winery Hens Tours
Every wine region we run, side by side, so you can compare the drive, the cellar doors and the lunch before you commit. Start here if the group has agreed on wine but not on where.
Your venues · Our bus
Just Need The Bus
You have picked the winery, booked the lunch and locked the accommodation. You just need everyone moved between them safely. Private charter, your itinerary, our driver.
True on every hens party we run, in all nine regions
On package days we book the venues, the tastings and the lunch for you. On charter days you book your own venues and we handle the transport only, which is the cheaper way to do it if your group has already decided where it is going. Water is not included on any vehicle and can be added for $50 per day per vehicle. A $200 deposit secures your date, with the balance due seven days before the day. The deposit is non refundable, but if you cancel it stays available as credit toward a future Urban Legends booking, subject to availability. Refunds apply to payments made above the deposit: 14 or more days out those payments are refunded in full, 7 to 13 days out 50%, and inside 7 days there is no refund. Date changes 7 or more days out are free, subject to availability.
Urban Legends Tour Co runs private hens party packages across nine regions in New South Wales and Queensland: Sydney, the Hunter Valley, Wollongong and the South Coast, the Southern Highlands, Sydney Harbour by yacht, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, and wine regions across NSW. Every hens party is private to your group and includes door to door pickup on a coach with a professional driver, a written run sheet with times, and the freedom to swap any stop. Group sizes run from 4 to 200 guests across multiple vehicles. Package days include venue bookings, tastings and lunch arranged by Urban Legends; charter days cover the transport only, for groups that have already booked their own venues. A $200 deposit secures a date and the balance is due seven days before the tour. Urban Legends has run group tours since 2016 and holds a 4.8 star rating from 200+ Google reviews.
It depends who is booking the venues.
Two different processes, and it is worth knowing which one you are in before you start. If we are organising the day, you book first and we build the itinerary around you. If you have already organised it and just need the bus, we quote first.
If we organise it
You want the venues, the tastings and the lunch sorted for you. Book the tour, then we build the day around your group.
- 1Book your datePick your tour and pay the deposit. That holds the date and the vehicle, which is the bit that actually runs out. Live per head pricing is on each tour's booking page.
- 2We send your itineraryOnce the deposit is in, you get the full run sheet: every venue, every time, and what is included at each stop.
- 3You change what you wantSwap a winery for a distillery, move the pickup, add a stop, drop the lunch. Most groups change something. Send it back and we rebuild it.
- 4We confirm every venueWe do the booking and the chasing, then send the final run sheet. Balance and final numbers are due seven days before the day.
If you organise it
Venues booked, lunch sorted, accommodation locked in. You need a bus and a driver, so we price it before anything else happens.
- 1Send us your planDate, group size, pickup point and where you are going. Rough is fine. If the numbers are not final, say so and we will price a range.
- 2We quoteA written quote by email, usually the same day, with the vehicle options priced side by side. Valid for 30 days.
- 3Happy? Pay the depositThe deposit holds the date and the vehicle. Balance due seven days before, or in full if you are booking inside seven days.
- 4We run your dayYour driver works to your itinerary, door to door. You do not have to hand over the plan, just the driving.
Deposits start at $200 and hold your date; multi vehicle bookings are $500. Not sure which side you are on? Tell us what you have already booked and we will tell you which one is cheaper for your group, rather than selling you the package by default.
Every kind of hens do.
Not every bride wants the same weekend. Tell us which of these sounds like her and we will build the day around it.
The wine day
Four cellar doors, a grazing lunch on a verandah and a sunset stop on the way home. The default for a reason, and the easiest to get twelve people to agree on.
Wine regions →The boat day
Your own yacht on Sydney Harbour with a skipper, a swim stop off a beach the ferries do not reach, and catering if you want it. The one everybody photographs.
Yacht charters →The not a wine tour day
For the bride who does not drink wine, or does not drink. Lawn bowls, a cocktail class, a rooftop bar, breweries, or an activity in the middle to break the day up.
Sydney hens party ideas →The weekend away
Two nights in the Hunter Valley or Byron Bay with the transport handled end to end, including the airport run and getting everyone home on the Sunday.
Multi night options →The custom hens
You already know what you want. You just do not know how to book it, who to ring, or what order it goes in. Send us what you are picturing and we will build the day around your ideas.
Send us your ideas →Just the transport
Venues booked, lunch sorted, accommodation locked in. You need a bus and a driver, not a package. This is the cheapest way to run a hens day properly.
Hens party bus hire →Four signature hens days. One bus, Sydney to anywhere.
Each itinerary links straight through to the booking page. Mix, match or fully customise. We'll tailor the runsheet around your bride. Pricing on each package depends on date, group size and add-ons.
1. Sydney Harbour yacht package
The pinch-me hens day. Pickup in the LED party bus, deliver the bride to her own private yacht on Sydney Harbour, cruise the harbour with the squad, then back on the bus for a sunset bar or harbourside dinner. Premium, classy, very Sydney.
2. Hunter Valley wine tours
The classic hens road trip. Sydney CBD pickup, 3 Hunter Valley wineries, long lunch at a winery restaurant, drive home. Or stretch it out into our Custom 2-Night Hunter Valley Weekend Away: accommodation, multi-day winery itineraries and the bus the whole time.
3. Cocktails & canapés + distillery + Italian wine + harbourside 4-course banquet
Our signature high-end Sydney hens day. Cocktails & canapés to start, a distillery tasting (or swap for a brewery tour if the bride's a beer girl), an Italian wine tasting, finish with a gourmet 4-course banquet on the harbour. Fully customisable. Swap any stop, we'll tailor the runsheet.
4. Southern Highlands + long lunch
A gentler alternative to the Hunter Valley. Boutique Southern Highlands cellar doors, paired with a long lunch in Berry or Bowral. The 18-seater Luxury Sprinter, but with the volume turned down.
None of the four? Build your own.
Whether it's a spa day followed by a long lunch, a learn-to-surf lesson for the adventurous bride, BridgeClimb, whale watching, a Manly Beach day, or something we've not heard before. We can tailor the whole runsheet, or you organise the activities and we supply the transport. Either way the bus is one less thing to think about.
Read the ideas first
These are real run sheets from hens parties we have run, so the times are the times. Three cellar doors and a proper lunch is our ceiling for a Hunter day, and the South Coast run goes down the Grand Pacific Drive over the Sea Cliff Bridge because the drive is worth as much as the stops. Every tour is still private to your group and every stop can be swapped, so if the bride would rather have a distillery than a winery, or start later, say so and we will rebuild the day around her. Live per head pricing for each tour is on its booking page.
